The “Bagoas da Terra” folk music group arose from the necessity of including music in some choreographies, with new instruments to improve the traditional quartet of two bagpipes, small drum and bass drum. So the added instruments were zanfona, accordion, Spanish guitar, cavaquinho, flutes and whistles, piano, bouzouqui… Etc. This was the start of the Association Folk Music Group. Later, further than traditional songs like muiñeiras, xotas, etc. The repertory was increased with more innovative rhythms and making fusion of different stiles, although not only original from Galicia, improving the sound of our traditional instruments. Therefore it is possible to listen to different music styles in their concerts, like rumbas, boleros, etc. Achieving in their shows a wide rhythm and tone variety.
Their live motive is try humbly their music to be useful, mainly, to have fun, relax or support to anybody who has the chance of listening to it.
